In the next few months there is a lot of focus on the new FX based sites which will include brushes, textures and stock images. The sites will operate under the Creative Commons licences offering all of their resources for free so long as they are accredited appropriately.

Backtrack was my final major university project, it was designed as an augmented reality experience. The user stands at a plinth with a micro remote controlled car in a shrunk down model version of the room they are in. The car is controlled using a remote control on the plinth and when you drive it round a screen shows a 3d version of the room you are stood in. As you navigate round this 3d or model landscape there will be hot points that activate sounds. I used it as an exhibition piece at the front of our design show so people could navigate around and hear about the exhibits. This gave them a better idea of what they were interested in seeing before they even got in. In this scenario I guess it is almost an interactive brochure.

Before leaving the Arts Institute in Bournemouth we got the chance to film the graduate fashion and costume shows. This was a big group job which involved teams of us setting up equipment round the show. We switched between filming the shows, vision mixing live video edits and running screen visuals.

As part of the graduate fashion show we created idents for the students before the show. The theme we agreed on was to use fashion sketches and swatches from the collection as the artwork. The screens we animated on and off during the show.

When Honda came to the science museum Wroughton I was given the opportunity to shoot the entire day. There were all kinds of activities and shows on engineering with the main event obviously being Asimo. I created a DVD of the day with some great footage of weird and wonderful Honda toys in action.

We were given the opportunity to contribute to a viral advertisement for the film Sunshine. The advertisement was for the Underworld song Peggy Sussed that was featured in the film. The end product was an edit of many different pieces of work creating a great abstract interpretation.
